Soon after concealed carry became legal in WV I applied for my license. Having no military or law enforcement background, I felt the weight of this new responsibility to be heavier than expected. As a result, I set out to learn as much as possible about carrying and using a handgun. I soon found USCCA to be an invaluable resource in my quest to be armed, not only with a firearm, but just as importantly, with the knowledge and skill to use it effectively. There are many times that the only person I can count on to protect myself and my family is myself. USCCA helped give me the confidence to know I can do that when needed.
I’ve had a couple of questions after recently starting my coverage. Everyone I talked to at USSCA has been professional, courteous and helpful. It makes me feel comfortable knowing it is a well run with a knowledgeable and engaged staff!

Thought about joining for months. I have taken 3 gun training classes. All of the instructors talked about what happens when you are involved if you legally use a gun. They said it was up to us . I asked each one of they were members. They all were. One of my instructors was a police officer. That did it.
