As I have gotten older (now 70) with the attendant loss of agility and onset of some health issues, I realized more and more my vulnerability. I don’t like being a target so taking on the responsibility of being my own first responder became more serious. Being a part of USCCA has helped me prepare myself. This is an ongoing task that requires not only skill sets but a mental resolve. I very much value and appreciate the help and encouragement from the USCCA. Always alert but with confidence gives me a measure of peace of mind.
