29 years ago, I shot a boy breaking into my house. I was trained in how to handle weapons, I respect the honor and ability I held, but that did not prepare me for that night. What started out as protection, ended two days later with charges. Now this turned into a messy situation, but I did come out with no overall damage. Today i still have and carry my weapons and continue to teach my 5 children those valuable lessons I have learned. I wish the USCCA would have been available those 29 years ago. Keep doing what you are doing. I would gladly talk in detail of that experience, I am open about it, but its to lengthy to type out here. So feel free to reach out to me one day via phone and again, I will talk in detail. Until then, Godspeed and lead on.
