If you have been around the firearms community for any amount of time, you’ve probably heard someone say that shooting is a perishable skill. It is important for you to train often and with professionals.
We suggest that you get good, quality training from a knowledgeable instructor on an annual basis — at minimum. Talk to instructors, ask questions and find one that matches up with the skills you are trying to develop.
Make the Commitment
Your training is a huge investment of your time and money. If you own a firearm for personal defense, you owe it to yourself and your loved ones to continually develop the skills that you might need to employ in a deadly force encounter.
Vary your training. Keep it fun. Keep it safe. And keep practicing.
