If you end up in a gunfight, there should be no reason to put your gun away quickly. With that said, you don’t need to buy a holster that allows you to reholster quickly. If your holster gives you that benefit, that’s great, but the primary concerns should be comfort, protection of your firearm and access to your firearm. In short, you should be able to draw quickly and be less concerned about how quickly you can put away your gun.

Floppy Holsters Work!

With a “floppy” holster, like a N82 Tactical or Sticky Holster, simply insert the gun in the holster first, and then put the combination of gun and holster inside your belt. It is not fast, but reholstering quickly is not the goal.
