Pay attention to your exits and understand the difference between cover and concealment. The lanes between cubicles can be your egress routes while providing concealment. Beams and other structural supports make great cover. Each of these elements should be part of your personal protection plan. You spend so much time at work; it pays to think about what you might do if your day suddenly changes for the worse. Whether or not your company allows you to carry a firearm in the workplace, having a solid plan of escape is a key element to staying alive.
