I served in the Army for 22 years; I have seen what humans can do to innocent people. My handgun purchase was initially for personal defense, now I have my wife and a 24-year-old son who is a quadriplegic from birth, cerebral palsy, and on a ventilator. He gets around in a really slow-moving wheelchair. We cannot run, not very fast anyway, we would need to stand and defend ourselves.

I have owned firearms (rifles, pistols & revolvers) for 60-years. I am retired Military, former Chief Deputy Sheriff and Former City Police Officer. I have my own private firearms range which is open to local law enforcement (Local, County, State) officers by appointment. When you first started USCCA I joined as a member for the insurance and training videos, but became disillusioned when everything other than three tiers of insurance was "For Sale", After several years of non-membership I again joined for the insurance aspects after a Home Invasion where I successfully protected myself and family. My relationship with the LEO Community insured I was properly treated, but the lingering thought of Insurance brought me to join again.

I have always been an 2A advocate. I hunt and shoot. I have a CC permit and I have home defense weapons.

I've always had firearms for sport, hunting, collecting and amateur gunsmithing and then the world started taking away freedoms and becoming more unsafe and I saw a another reason to own firearms.

I will be cancelling when my membership expires. You employ Tim Kennedy. He is a hypocrite; on certain podcasts he is for no gun laws and others he is for gun control.

The continuing rise in home invasions and murders made me make a hard decision to arm myself to protect my family. As a retired Army veteran I thought my days of being armed were over. Unfortunately, our government is doing a horrible job defending law abiding citizens. Instead, they seek to make us victims by stripping us of our 2A rights.

I’ve been a gun owner since childhood and work daily to improve my skill. I started USCCA during the COVID ramp up due to all the instability and seeing more and more individuals choosing violence.

I’ve had positive exposures to firearms my whole life, and it was natural that I would have my own at some point. it turns out I enjoy repairing and building them as well.

I’ve owned guns my whole life and started carrying as soon as I turned 21. I switched to USCCA because I feel like yall offer a better service.
